During the opening ceremony, Volocopter also signed a manufacturing contract with Volocopter Chengdu and General Aviation Manufactory Base of Geely Technology to produce the aircraft and parts of Volocopter in China. This production agreement will strategically meet the growing demand for air taxi services following the commercial launch in China.
